After receiving her BFA in Fashion Design, Gretchen Maull Berger interned at Proenza Schouler. Wanting to further her design education, Gretchen moved to Milan and earned a Master’s degree in handbag and shoe design at Istituto Marangoni before officially launching her professional career as a studio assistant at Missoni. Recognizing her amazing talent, she was awarded a first class apprenticeship in design, construction, leatherwork, and hardware.
In 2014, Gretchen founded GG Maull in order to fulfill a lifelong dream to create an accessories brand that was both accessible and aspirational. Her deco inspired bags are handcrafted in Italy.
